Dr. Pallavi Lohani, a distinguished luminary in the realm of Kathak, devotes her life to the noble preservation of the timeless values inherent in Indian classical dance. As a senior disciple of the illustrious Padma Shri Shovana Narayan and the late Pandit Arjun Mishra Ji, Dr. Pallavi has meticulously refined her craft under the guidance of the finest masters.

Formally trained in the exquisite art of Indian Classical Dance Kathak, Dr. Lohani stands as a revered exponent, educator, and choreographer. She is honored as a ‘B High Grade Artist’ of Doordarshan, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication. With a Ph.D. in Dance and over two decades of enriching teaching experience, Dr. Pallavi Lohani is hailed as a respected and accomplished guru of the Lucknow Gharana,.

Currently, Dr. Lohani serves as an Assistant Professor of Kathak Dance at the esteemed Tecnia Institute of Art and Design, affiliated with Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, a UGC-recognized university. Additionally, she holds the esteemed position of Acharya at Guru Shovana Narayan’s Asavari Centre for Kathak, where she expertly oversees the training of intermediate and senior-level batches. As a repertory artist at Asavari Centre, Dr. Lohani has participated in numerous dance productions and international tours, contributing significantly to the artistic legacy established by Shovana Narayan Ji. Through her unwavering dedication, captivating artistry, and passionate commitment, Dr. Pallavi Lohani continually inspires and elevates the intricate art of Kathak, ensuring its rich heritage flourishes vibrantly for generations to come.

Dr. Shikha Srivastav is a distinguished Indian Classical Vocalist, esteemed researcher, dedicated educator, talented voice-over artist, and vibrant radio personality. A devoted disciple of the illustrious Vidushi Shaswati Mandal from the Gwalior Gharana, Dr. Srivastav holds a Ph.D. in Indian Music, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Bhatkhande Music University, Lucknow, and Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh. Her academic journey is further enriched by her ‘Parangat’ diploma, a testament to her eight years of rigorous training in music.
With a celebrated career spanning various domains, Dr. Shikha is the proud recipient of the Junior Fellowship Award from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and has won accolades at T-Series Stageworks Academy. Her role as a Project Fellow at the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) demonstrates her commitment to enriching educational resources, as she contributes to developing textbooks on Indian music.

Anamika Badoni

With a decade of experience in teaching and performing Kathak, Anamika Badoni is a highly skilled and accomplished dance instructor. Her strong educational foundation includes a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, as well as Junior and Senior Diplomas in Kathak. Trained under the guidance of esteemed gurus, including Ruby Mishra ji at Birju Maharaj’s parampara, Anamika continues to hone her craft with advanced training from renowned Dr. Pallavi Lohani of the Lucknow Gharana. As a passionate teacher, Anamika has taught at various institutions, including Buds N Cubs – A Play School and SAM International School Dwarka. Her choreography and performances have been showcased at numerous events. Anamika’s achievements include top positions in Zonal Junior and Senior Classical Dance competitions. She is also a faculty member for junior classes at Kala Sadhak Centre For Performing Arts. With her extensive experience, dedication, and passion for Kathak, Anamika Badoni is an exceptional instructor and performer.
